Book of Four Sisters
Hurst, TX September 17, 2016
Book Cover - can be as elaborate or plain as you like. I covered my book cover in ephemera, wallpaper scraps and a bit of paint. You may choose to use yours as is.
Fabric - The body of your pages will be cloth, muslin is fine. But old lace hankies, old silk scarves, tapestry, and clothing scraps all add interest and texture.
Photos - I created a digital file with lots of wonderful pictures of the sisters, it will be sent to you once your payment is received. Or you can find your own images.
You will need to prepare your photos for the class by printing them in a variety of ways. Onto muslin, velum, or transparencies. There are many tutorials online to refer to. Or you can email me and I'll be happy to help. If you don't have time, or its overwhelming don't worry, we can print them in class!
Extra embelishments - look through your stash for broken jewelry, millinary flowers, laces, ribbon, old travel postcards and handwritten letters. If you want to add stitching to your book bring some embroidery floss and needle. Anything that inspires you.
Box cutter - something that will cut through the book cover
As always I'll have the 'magic' suitcase filled with goodies from my own stash to share with you❤
